The Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health awarded nine Employee Community Fund grants to organizations this month.
Employee Community Fund grants are funded and selected by Blue Cross of Idaho employees. The company has an annual employee giving campaign that offers employees a chance to donate to nonprofit organizations. Any funds designated to the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health are earmarked for the Employee Community Fund and given back to the state through a grant program.
The organizations that received grants are:
- Cascade Medical Center Foundation (Cascade)
- Challis Medical Center (Challis)
- Clearwater Economic Development Association (Lewiston)
- Ethan Murray Fund (Sandpoint)
- Everybody House (Twin Falls)
- Health West Inc. (Pocatello)
- Ignite Idaho Family Resource Center (McCall)
- Open Arms of Idaho (Iona)
- Teton Valley Health Care (Driggs)
Employee Community Fund grants are awarded annually. Organizations that receive an Employee Community Fund grant aren’t eligible to apply the next year, ensuring that more deserving organizations in Idaho have access to grant funding.
